X Factor hopeful Sian Phillips has reportedly been axed from the show following problems obtaining a visa in order to travel to America to film for the Judges’ Houses stage.
The Mirror reports that Phillips was set to be shown passing through Bootcamp and going on to the Judges’ Houses, but had to be edited out of the show at short notice before it aired this weekend.
The 24-year-old served a ten day prison sentence two years ago for affray, meaning she was unable to obtain a visa to travel to Miami.
Sian told the paper: “I’d lost my home and come out of a long-term relationship and went a bit off the rails. I got drunk on a night out in Liverpool, had a fight and was arrested and charged.
“It was my first offence. I’d never been in trouble with the police before and I haven’t since. I was shocked with myself and full of regret. It was the worst thing that ever happened in my life, but in some ways it turned out to be the best as it gave me the shock to get my life back on track.”
A source said Sian was been “virtually airbrushed” out of the show, and the singer only made a brief appearance during last night’s Bootcamp show.
Yesterday we reported how one favourite had been axed during Bootcamp after losing his voice.
Bootcamp concludes tonight at 7:30pm on ITV1.
Keep it central!
