Week 3 of The X Factor auditions improved on the previous show’s performance, attracting a peak of 12.5 million viewers to ITV1.
The peak (including ITV1 +1) was a 49% audience share, and the show average 11.1 million viewers between 8.15pm and 9.15pm.
These figures and a good improvement on last week’s performance (12.0m peak, 10.6m average), but slightly down on the series opener (12.6m peak, 11.3m average).
The Xtra Factor pulled in 740,000 viewers (3.5%) on ITV2, and a further 192,000 on ITV2 +1.
Overall, ITV1 dominated yesterday’s primetime audience share thanks to The X Factor and new Simon Cowell gameshow Red Or Black. It average 30.3%, almost twice that of BBC1.
