X Factor boss Simon Cowell is set to feature in the final of The X Factor UK this weekend, his first appearance on the show since the 2010 series.
The former judge quit in the Spring to launch the singing contest in America, but will make a brief retun before the series ends.
According to The Mirror, Cowell will appear on a giant screen inside Wembley Arena, where this year’s final is being held.
An insider revealed: “Simon has stayed abreast of the show from America and has continued to have daily conference calls with his staff in the UK.
“But he didn’t want to appear in the early weeks because he needed to concentrate on his day job. There was also no point in him overshadowing Gary Barlow and the other judges.”
The final commences on Saturday at 8PM on ITV1. Do you hope to see Simon on the X Factor this weekend?
