The X Factor’s ratings fell slightly at the weekend as the hopefuls competed in Bootcamp and moved a step closer to the live shows.
Only two of the seven audition shows failed to average above 11 million viewers, the lowest of the being 10.6 million.
On Saturday, The X Factor averaged 10.0 million (43% – not including ITV1 +1), and spin-off The Xtra Factor attracted 1.1 million on ITV2.
Figures improved on Sunday though, as 10.6 million (39% – not including ITV1 +1) tuned in to see the conclusion to Bootcamp and the hopefuls find out their mentor.
The X Factor continues this Saturday for the Judges’ Houses, at 8pm on ITV1.
Keep it central!

Hugely watchable, but only cause of the revamp. Last year it was getting a bit jaded. But it has come back with a bang. This season I’ve loved ever second!
X Factor is no longer a singing competition if it ever was. Sending Jade home is the last straw. There were 10 to 12 people in the auditions who sang well enough to go through to the judges houses but only half got there, the others were those who caused the uproar from tattoos on the bums to lots of issues with nerves and poor singing.
Jade, Mischa, Janet for sure through to the live shows.
There are no singers in the boys.
Good job Goldie went home and let Sami through.
Not sure any of the groups are up to the mark.
Sorry but I’ve lost interest in the outcome.
