There is fresh speculation that Cheryl Cole could make a return to The X Factor by featuring on the panel during the live shows.
Cheryl quit earlier this year to become a judge on The X Factor USA, but swiftly lost her new role and turned down an offer to rejoin the UK series.
Stories that a return is back on the cards are once again going round the rumour mill.
Heat Magazine reports that the Girls Aloud singer will be making a comeback for the live shows which commence next month, but only as a guest judge – for the time being at least.
“Cheryl is in talks to be a guest judge on the live shows,” a source said. “Nothing is set in stone, but everyone involved knows it’s going to be the most explosive thing The X Factor has ever seen.
“It’s an extremely closely guarded secret. People who work on the show don’t know about it yet.”
New judge Tulisa Contostavlos recently claimed her job was still Cheryl’s, and that she would be pushed aside if producers wanted her to return.

The revived XF is working and someone misses the limelight.
No, she shouldn’t be allowed back in any capacity. She made a choice to ditch the Uk for the USA. When that didn’t work out, she was offered (wrongly) the UK again and turned it down. Now the reboot ratings have not suffered from the departures, she wants to grab the headlines again. I think not.

Cheryl is a nice judge, but we need sth new this season and the new judges did a fantastic job.So far so good, any changes now is stupid. Cheryl should come back as as guest performer in the live show
