Kitty Brucknell could be axed from The X Factor after it emerged she used illegal slimming drugs.

According to reports, the 26-year-old boasted on Facebook about her use of the illegal substance hCG to slim down.

The Daily Mirror claims that one post made in June 2010 was: “Oh my god. I’ve lost 2 inches from my hips in five days. This diet rules. hCG. It’s amazing”.

A few months later the singer added: “This diet will literally CHANGE YOUR LIFE. All of those who knows me, it freaking works. I have a six-pack…omg didn’t even have this with lipo. hCG Rules”.

In defence, she told the paper: “I have a healthy approach to food and diet and I am really happy being a size 10. I have dieted at times in the past but no more than the average person.”

A source close to the contestant insisted the hCG drug was only used for a month and that she was unaware it was illegal.

This isn’t the first time Brucknell has come under fire this week. Allegations were made claiming she used to work as a ‘honeytrap’ girl, and The Sun reports that fame-hungry Kitty has appeared on over 30 television and radio shows in the UK and overseas.

Viewers saw her perform Lady Gaga’s ‘Edge Of Glory’ last weekend to get four yes’ from the judges and make it through to Bootcamp. However, Louis Walsh told his fellow judges after the audition: “I would hate to be mentoring her”.
