Kendro made it through to Bootcamp on Saturday night with three votes from the judges, who had concerns regarding their vocal ability.
The duo – made up of 18-year-old Alejanero and 23-year-old Keneal – took to the stage in Manchester to perform Lady Gaga’s ‘Born This Way‘, with dreams of one day being as successful as the popstar.
You can watch Kendro’s audition here.
The performance was a crowd pleaser, but Kelly Rowland had mixed feelings. “The vocals need to come up a little bit – actually a lot,” she admitted. “The notes were not on, but I really had fun watching you guys.”
“You are everything this competition doesn’t need.”Gary Barlow
Louis described the pair as “likeable”, but Tulisa told Kendro: “You definitely stand out from the crowd, but the vocals – disgraceful!”
Gary wasn’t impressed either. “I’m always interested in why someone comes on, and they’re putting lipstick on and they’ve dyed their hair. It’s because you’ve got no talent,” he said.
With two yes’s and a no from Gary, it was down to Kelly whether or not Kendro would go to Bootcamp. The judge once again expressed her concerns, but gave in to pressure from Louis and the audience and rewarded them with the third yes they needed to make it through.
What did you think of Kendro’s performance? Did they deserve to go to Bootcamp?
Keep it central!

gota admit these boys cannot sing, however i did watch them at the auditions and NO other contestant got me dancing like they did, spoke with them after their audition to book them for a party i was arranging and they told me about there music which they write themselves, link to a song here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jfdifNJgkeE
not my scene but i do think its very catchy and can see it playing across the clubs.
Realising the over 25s and groups are looking a bit ropey at the moment, must we really suffer yet another Jedward debacle.
This pair better be booted in the bootcamp.
