It has been announced that X Factor judge Kelly Rowland will not appear on the show this week after coming down with a throat infection.
The mentor is understood to have flown out to Los Angeles this week, but is unable to return to London because of the throat infection.
A statement read:
“Kelly is devastated she won’t be here for this weekend’s show. She is extremely ill with a viral throat infection and her doctors aren’t permitting her to fly. Kelly will be returning to the show as soon as she has recovered. The girls have been in touch to wish her a speedy recovery and they can’t wait for her to get back.”
After falling out last weekend, Kelly was said to be hoping to hold talks with Tulisa to ‘clear the air’ on her return from L.A.
Alexandra said: “I’m really excited to be a guest judge on The X Factor this evening. As someone who has been part of the show all the way to the final, I can’t wait to share my opinions. I’ll be there fighting for the girls tonight!”
