Gary Barlow has reportedly admitted to making the wrong choice when picking Frankie Cocozza to represent him during the live shows.
During the Judges’ Houses, Gary selected Frankie as one of the four boys who would go through to the live shows, along with Marcus Collins, Craig Colton and James Michael (now eliminated).
However, after Frankie fell into the bottom two last weekend and was saved by the judges, his mentor is now regretting putting him through.
Gary told The Sun: “On Monday morning I was thinking I’d made the wrong choice picking him. I’m doing well with Craig and Marcus, but it’s Frankie. I just can’t ever track him down.
“The trouble with the artists this year is they are all obsessed with Twitter and headlines. It feels like they are all getting a bit above themselves. We are constantly reminding them that they are in a competition. I had a word with all my contestants and I know Kelly Rowland had a word with hers. It’s reality check time.”
Do you think Frankie deserves his place in the live shows?
Keep it central!

He should not have picked him, he is more concerned about the notches on his bedpost than his singing. He is not even a good singer.
I think that tonights songs were awful! and for Gary to say that louis knew nothing when he brought up ‘westlife’ and ‘the backstreet boys’ he knows a lot. as for kelly and tulsa you both did not understand ‘rock’ tonight. The only person who did rock was Kitty. SIMON YOU NEED TO COME BACK NOW!!!!
Big Head needs to be booted out and bring James back. He has been given a once in a lifetime opportunity and throwing it back in Gary Barlows face, he’s only interested in how many birds he can pull.
