Adele will not feature in next month’s X Factor final after continuing vocal problems, her spokesperson has confirmed.

It was reported in the summer that the singer was being lined up for an appearance in the final to be held at Wembley Arena, and speculation at the start of the week suggested this was still the case.

However, after already cancelling numerous shows following vocal chord surgery, the X Factor final on December 11 is another date that will not go ahead.

Other stars rumoured to be featuring in the series climax for possible duets with the finalists include Coldplay, Michael Buble and Jessie J.
