One half of 2 Shoes fell pregnant between the auditions and bootcamp, and kept the news a secret from her bandmate and show producers, according to reports.
Charley Bird (on the left of the picture) was seen auditioning with friend Lucy Texeria last weekend, and the pair made it through to bootcamp despite Kelly Rowland describing their performance as like karaoke.
The Sun reports that between that audition and filming for Bootcamp, Charley fell pregnant with long-term partner Greg Philips.
The 23-year-old was afraid this would cost 2 Shoes their place in the competition, wbut was pleased with the producers support when she eventually broke the news.
“I can’t wait to be a mum,” Charley said. “We’re both so excited. It’s made me want to do well in the competition even more, so that I can give my son a really good start in life.
When the show concludes in December, the singer will be eight-months into the pregnancy, but bosses have promised to help her work around it should 2 Shoes reach the latter stages.
Charley quipped that the duo had considered changing their name to 3 Shoes, and that Gary and Louis were potential names for the baby in honour of The X Factor judges.
Do you think 2 Shoes will get far enough into the competition for Charley’s pregnancy to become a problem?
Keep it central!

that was so predictable.
don’t see how it’s a problem at all, women have babies on the day and dont’even realise they are pregnant whilst others work till day before. It’s not a problem why should it be,i think its nice x factor are supporting her
